Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Final Fantasy TCG Legacy Collection?

The Legacy Collection is a landmark release marking the first-ever reprint set in the history of the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game (FFTCG). It features 200 carefully curated cards selected from over 3,000 cards created since the game's inception, focusing on the most competitive and versatile cards from the tournament scene.

What is the pack configuration for this set?

Each Legacy Collection Booster Pack contains 5 Carte collezionabili.

What are the chase cards in the FFTCG Legacy Collection?

The most sought-after hits in this set are the extremely rare Special Cards, which feature full-art illustrations and foil-stamped signatures from legendary artists:

  • Yuna [12-105L]: Featuring a foil-stamped signature of Tetsuya Nomura.

  • Warrior of Light [19-128L]: Featuring a foil-stamped signature of Miki Yamashita

Does every card have a Full Art version?

Yes. A major feature for collectors is that every single one of the 200 cards in the set has a Full Art Premium version in addition to its standard Premium and non-foil versions. This allows Giocatori to "max out" the rarity of their favorite competitive decks with consistent full-art treatments.

What is the difference between the Legacy Collection foil and traditional FFTCG foil?

The Legacy Collection introduces a new foil type that differs from the traditional Premium foil found in standard Opus booster packs. Community members describe this new foil as having a "smooth" finish rather than the sparkly, textured look of regular sets, providing a unique aesthetic for high-rarity collections.

What are the "Crystal Cards" included in the booster boxes?

Every display box includes a random Buy-a-Box Promo card consisting of one of six different Crystal Cards. These cards are used with the Crystal mechanic introduced in later Opus sets. Note that these bonus cards were confirmed for the first initial release run.

When was the FFTCG Legacy Collection released?

The official Data di uscita for the Final Fantasy TCG Legacy Collection was February 28, 2025.
