FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Data di uscita for Disney Lorcana: Wilds Unknown?

The global retail launch for Wilds Unknown (Expansion Twelve) is scheduled for May 15, 2026.

What are the contents of a Wilds Unknown Booster Box?

Each booster box contains 24 booster packs. Every individual pack includes 12 randomized cards including :

6 Common cards.
3 Uncommon cards.
2 Rare, Super Rare, or Legendary cards.
1 Foil card of any rarity.

Which Pixar characters are making their debut in this set?

Wilds Unknown is the landmark expansion that officially introduces Pixar franchises to the Great Illuminary. Confirmed franchises include Toy Story (Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie), The Incredibles (Elastigirl, Jack-Jack), and Brave (Merida). These "plastic" glimmers are joined by classic Disney characters like Cinderella and Ariel in new "wild" survival-themed forms.

What is the "Core Constructed" format rotation starting with Set 12?

Upon the release of Wilds Unknown, Disney Lorcana implements its first major set rotation for official competitive play. The Core Constructed format will now consist only of the most recent four blocks, specifically Sets 9 through 12. Cards from earlier expansions (The First Chapter through Reign of Jafar) are now restricted to the Infinity format, unless they have been reprinted in a Core-legal set.

What are the rarest "Iconic" and "Enchanted" chase cards in this set?

The set continues the rarity hierarchy established in Year 2. Iconic cards (identified by a rainbow octagon symbol) are the rarest in the TCG, appearing in approximately 1 in 50 packs. Enchanted cards (rainbow hexagon) feature borderless "inkwash" foil art and appear roughly once every 96 packs. Collectors anticipate Iconic variants of Woody and Buzz Lightyear to be the most valuable pulls from this box.

Are dual-ink cards and locations included in this expansion?

Yes. Wilds Unknown continues the use of dual-ink cards, which belong to two different ink types for increased deck-building flexibility. Location cards also remain a staple of the environment, representing new areas of the Lorcana map like the jungle-themed Wilderknot and the Torchlight Peaks.

How do "Shift" and "Bodyguard" keywords affect gameplay in this set?

Shift: Allows you to pay a reduced cost to play a powerful character on top of another version of that same character.
Bodyguard: Bodyguard characters can enter play exerted, forcing your opponent to challenge them before they can target your more valuable "questers".
