How many card types and rarities are in the set?

The set contains a total of 115 unique card types, consisting of 104 new cards, 6 reprints, and 5 special cards. The rarity distribution is as follows:

What is the new "Ultimate Rare" rarity tier?

BT-25 marks the global debut of the Ultimate Rare (UR) rarity, which is strategically positioned between Super Rare and Secret Rare. In this set, the three Ultimate Rares are specifically reserved for new "Dual Cards:

  • Habakirimon/Habakiri (BT25-043)

  • Monarchlizamon/Final Judgment (BT25-057)

  • BeelStarmon/Fly Bullet (BT25-085)

What are Dual Cards and how do they work?

Dual Cards are a new hybrid card type introduced in the 6th year of the Digimon Card Game that function as both a Digimon and an Option card.

  • No Play Cost: These cards feature a "D" logo instead of a number, meaning they cannot be played directly to the field; they must be put into play via digivolution.

  • Dual Sections: The top of the card contains standard Digimon stats (Level, DP, effects), while the bottom contains Option information (Use cost, color requirements, and [Main] effects).

What does the Arts Digivolve keyword do?

Arts Digivolve is a special rule found on Dual Cards. It allows a player to digivolve a Digimon in their battle area or breeding area into the Dual Card at no cost immediately after using the card's Option effect. This creates a powerful sequence where the player can resolve an Option ability and evolve a boss monster in a single chain.

Which Digimon series and games are featured in this set?

BT-25 provides extensive support for three major pillars of the Franchise:

  • Digimon Beatbreak: Features the "Glowing Dawn" team and the E-pulse mechanic.

  • Digimon Data Squad (Savers): Celebrates the series' 20th anniversary with the "DATS" team, including partners for Marcus Damon and Thomas H. Norstein.

  • Digimon Story Time Stranger: Continues the integration of characters from the video game, focusing on the Olympos XII and the GraceNovamon archetype.

Who are the Secret Rare and Rare Pull chase cards?

The two defining Secret Rares for the set are GraceNovamon (BT25-103) and ShineGreymon: Burst Mode/Final Shining Burst (BT25-104). Both cards are also available as high-value Rare Pulls. Other high-demand Rare Pull reprints included in the set are:

  • Hidden Potential Discovered! (BT3-103)
